On 18 October 2025, imported goods of M/s. Norp Knit Industries Ltd. were damaged in one of the most devastating fires in recent memory at the Cargo Village of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

In settlement of the Marine Cargo Insurance claim, the cheque was formally handed over to the Branch Manager of Banani Branch by the Chief Executive Officer (Acting) of Islami Insurance Bangladesh Limited. On this Occasion the Head of the Claims Department and the Head of the Reinsurance Department were also present.
